Each site's cloud backups are limited by its plan. Local backups on your own server are available on every plan and are kept until you delete them.

Good to know
- Restore points roll over. When a site reaches its limit, the next backup is uploaded and verified first, then the oldest restore point is retired. A full backup that a kept differential depends on is never retired early.
- Differentials save upload time, not limits. Each full and each differential counts as one restore point. See Backup schedule.
- Add-ons: Long-Term Retention keeps up to 365 restore points, and each backup add-on includes 50 GB of extra cloud storage.
- A backup larger than your plan's single-backup size stays on your server but is not uploaded to the Cloud.
