A WordPress security + backup alternative to Sucuri

PowerSEC focuses on

• Security monitoring (scanning, vulnerability hints, firewall & hardening via the plugin)

• Checksum-verified cloud backups with restore points — and restore readiness you can see

• AI-explained findings on Pro plans (advisory) that prioritize what to fix first

• A central dashboard to manage one WordPress site or many

• Agency mode: a shared backup pool, client reports, and bulk actions

• A free, passive external snapshot to start — no plugin required

Sucuri focuses on

• A cloud WAF/CDN that filters traffic at the edge, before it reaches your server

• A hands-on, done-for-you malware cleanup service

• Edge-level protections such as DDoS mitigation and caching
