What this measures: whether the background workers that run backups and remote actions were reporting a heartbeat, counted minute by minute. Minutes we could not measure are left out rather than counted as up or down. If the workers are unavailable, remote actions stay queued and run once they are back, and a missed scheduled backup runs once when service resumes. Backups you already have stay safe, and your site’s firewall, malware scanning and login protection run on your own server, so they keep working without PowerSEC Central. Earlier days were sampled once an hour, so a single missed sample there still counts as a full hour.
